About the role
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative to join the Favala Hardware team (Male' Showroom). The role involves assisting customers with selecting the right hardware and building materials, preparing quotations and sales documents, processing payments accurately, and delivering excellent customer service. The successful candidate will contribute to achieving showroom sales targets while ensuring smooth day-to-day showroom operations.
Key Responsibilities
🔹Greet and assist walk-in customers in a professional and friendly manner.
🔹Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable hardware, construction, electrical, plumbing, lighting, paint, and related products.
🔹Prepare quotations, invoices, delivery notes, and other sales documentation accurately.
🔹Process cash, card, and other payment transactions while ensuring accurate daily cash reconciliation.
🔹Maintain strong product knowledge to confidently advise customers.
🔹Upsell and cross-sell complementary products to maximize sales opportunities.
🔹Follow up on quotations and customer inquiries to improve sales conversion.
🔹Check stock availability and coordinate with the warehouse when required.
🔹Ensure products are well displayed and the showroom remains clean and organized.
🔹Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
🔹Support the team in achieving daily and monthly sales targets.

Requirements
🔹Good communication and customer service skills.
🔹Basic knowledge of quotations, invoicing, cashiering, and sales processes.
🔹Good numerical skills and attention to detail.
🔹Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
🔹Responsible, honest, and team-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications
🔹Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or the hardware/building materials industry.
🔹Familiarity with showroom operations and POS systems.
🔹Fluent in spoken and written English.
🔹GCE O' Level or equivalent qualification.
